I found a new study has been supervised by researchers from the Norwegian and included patients suffering from coronary artery problems that vitamin B is beneficial in the prevention and avoid problems related to heart and arteries.
Chairwoman of the study, Dr. Marta Aabenj of Haukeland University Hospital, Norway, the 3096 patients suffering from coronary artery were divided into four groups between the years 1999 and 2006 and give them daily doses of oral folic acid, vitamin B 12 and vitamin B 6, folic acid and vitamin B 12 or vitamin with only 6.
The researchers said they did not find any effect of anti-interference caused by folic acid and vitamin B 12 or with vitamin B-6 in cases of diseases related to heart and arteries.
He said the researchers told them that "observational studies that have been performed and explained that the concentration of homocysteine in the blood related to risk of coronary artery disease and stroke."
"We found a lower risk of injury and stroke but increased the risk of cancer in groups that were given doses of folic acid, these observations were not confirmed completely, but the studies and the results do not recommend the use of vitamin B minor as an antidote in cases of patients with coronary artery disease."
The study was published in The American Medical Association.
