What is acute otitis externa?

Inflammation of the external ear is an infection of the skin covering the outer ear and ear canal. And usually occur external ear infection as a result of excessive exposure to water, so called swimmers ear because they often occur as a result swimming and constant exposure to water. When a pool of water in the ear canal skin becomes central to the growth of good bacteria. And also result in minor wounds and scratches that occur in the ear canal (eg when cleaning the ear sticks cotton) to the ease of bacterial infection.

What is chronic inflammation of the external ear?
