Delay in cutting the umbilical cord is useful for the newborn

A new study suggested that waiting a few minutes after birth before cutting the umbilical cord nourishing the baby may have benefits over a piece immediately after birth.
The study of Canada - which compared the results of a number of previous studies have been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association - that a delay in cutting the umbilical cord for at least two minutes after birth results in high blood count and iron levels in the newborn.
But experts who did not participate in the new study differed over the feasibility of adopting the new approach, but they agreed on the need for more research in this area before the changes advise the process.
Says Dr. Saleh Yassin, head of department of gynecology and obstetrics at the University of Miami: "So far, this study does not carry any suggestion of a practical and even the authors themselves are advised to study the need for more research."
In the eyes of Dr. Cheryl Kypriana from the University of Texas, "The study implies that the baby has the ability to store iron well so it helps to delay cutting the umbilical cord not suffering from anemia and therefore it may be important to know that for doctors."
"I personally believe that doctors may find a lot of new things if they designed a new study broader."
And works on the umbilical cord connecting the fetus during pregnancy and the pain is cut during childbirth in developed countries, but the time for the cut is not known.
In the absence of fixed rules, we find that doctors in the developed countries are working to cut the umbilical cord immediately after birth for two reasons be the occurrence of any respiratory problems and to facilitate the hosting of the birth mother for the first time.
But in developing countries may differ as cutting the umbilical cord, but that doctors tend to delay this issue to avoid the suffering of the child from anemia.
According to Kypriana, many of those living in developed countries resort to keep the blood in umbilical cord blood banks so as to conformity with the births. "A lot of mothers that they do not, but only half of the cases is that you find enough to keep them in blood banks."
And so has a new study suggested that a delay in secret love cut reduces the likelihood of the need for blood transfusions and the risk of bleeding in children. However, other studies have found that the results are not convincing for one reason or another. As other studies have found that the delay may be useful in premature birth where the baby is less in size.
Researchers did not study in the Canadian job any new experiences, but they stood on the results of previous studies and compare the timing of cutting the umbilical cord after birth. The cutting was delayed happen after two minutes of birth in the early pieces as soon as directed by the child from the mother's womb.
The study found that waiting increases the Aadaldm and iron levels, which lowers the likelihood of anemia. However, the results may be recorded increase in the number of white blood cells and red on a temporary basis according to the authors of the study.
